'Lost' with Mom in Walking Dunes

This weekend Nals, Mom, and I went to the Walking Dunes in Montauk. We walked a long way along the water thinking it would eventually lead to a trail...but no there was no trail. So, my mom decided to take a short cut and navigate back through the dunes...wasn't so easy and we trekked through what seemed like an endless savanna. Nalle had a great time!

C'mon, Nals! We're almost home! We have to keep moving!!

Thomas and Julia: Photo Experiment 1

A funny one!

These are some experimental photos Thomas and I took yesterday inspired by the people of the Omo valley in Africa (pictures below). I really like the idea of using the body as a canvas and reconnecting with nature. We will continue to explore this idea further.

Face Painting!

I bought some face paint and had a go at it! These aren't all that good but I will keep practicing. Its fun! Everyone should face paint.

Artist: Giancarlo Impiglia

This past week Christy's Art Center in Sag Harbor has featured the dynamic work of Giancarlo Impiglia. I took these pictures of the exhibit when I was helping out at the gallery. I really enjoyed it!

July in NYC

This is my first attempt at fashion photography and I think it turned out pretty well! Thomas looks like a catalog model. So handsome! :)

(Unfortunately most of these NYC pictures were taken in RAW mode which means they would need more editing on the computer and I'm not exactly sure how to do that)
